(Erosion)

(Erosion is the breakin of rocks into sediment which will lead to sedimentation. Weathering and flowing water are two of the main ways of erosion found. Weathering erosion happenes either chemicly or mechanicly. Mechanical erosion happens mainly as water freezes in crevisous of rocks spliting through the rocks. Chemical weathering happens as bodys of plants or animals decays formins a little acid and eating throught the rock. Running water also will cause erosion as it rushes small minerals over rocks acting as a grinder over the rocks. The sediments will flow down the stream and acumulate in a delta of a river and can form orther rocks from the ones broken down.Winds, waves, and glacers also play there part in erosion. In desert reagions it is more comone to see winds cause erosion upon the loose sediment of sand. the wind will leave dunes across the desert that are the heavier sediment it cant pick up. wave rushing up on a coast rot away the land. Glaciers are large ice blocks that move slowly across land using gravity to make a force that help it pick up sedimant as it moves.)

Application of (Topic)

(If you vist the grand canyon you are looking at the application of erosion. the grand canyon is a beautiful work of art created by a river making erosion over a long period of time.The river cut through the rock leaving the canyon sitting there for us to view. Sedimentary rocks that are found at the delta of a river can be where rocks have had the sediment brake off of them and rush down the river. the sediment deposits at the delta and piles up as presure pushes them together making sediment rock. Erosion can cause alot of damage and ruins lots of things like crops. It is a way new rocks can be formed and in that make its name as a good thing too.)
